When you’re having trouble finding a new home to live in, we can help with independent and short-term living options in locations across our state. RSL Queensland provides a range of accommodation services for veterans.
Who is eligible?
RSL Queensland’s Veteran Homelessness Program is open to ex-serving ADF members who have completed at least one day of continuous full-time service, their partners, and Allied service veterans (subject to additional criteria) who are also:

The RSL Queensland Homelessness Program provides a comprehensive case management approach to support you in finding stable, permanent accommodation.
You may also be eligible for
emergency financial assistance
, referrals to psychologists or addiction treatment facilities, and referrals to other support programs.If you’re experiencing urgent financial hardship, RSL Queensland may be able to help with a limited, one-off amount of emergency funds to help cover your basic living expenses.

If you are not ex-Defence or the partner of an ex-Defence member, RSL Queensland is unable to assist you with emergency accommodation.
